METAK successfully pays off bond payments

Despite the adverse impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the global economy, METAK could pay off its debt service obligations on bonds on time. With the emission of the third bonds package on May 18, 2020, the company has successfully finalised payments of interest and principal amounts on its bonds. The total amount of the third bond emission package with a 10 per cent annual interest rate was ₼3 million.

In total, METAK has so far paid ₼860,000 to bondholders (I emission = ₼3 million, 12% a.i.r.; II emission = ₼2 million, 10% a.i.r.; and ₼3 million payable at 10% coupons).

METAK is extremely grateful to all bondholders for their contribution to the development of the non-oil sector and the economy of Azerbaijan.
